I've searched the forum and couldn't find an answer. I have found it to be somewhat difficult to clearly determine if I can network two lowrance graphs and HOW to do it. I currently have a lowrance hds-9 gen2 at the steering wheel. I do not have one on the bow and I am in the market for one. I am considering the lowrance elite-7 chirp.
- Can these two be networked?
- If I purchase the elite-7 with GPS, will the waypoints I have created previously on the hds-9 appear with an exact location (for example not off by the distance to the transducer on the transom).
- I am aware the waypoints that already exist will not be shared on the network. Can I still copy the waypoints on a card and then transfer to the new device? I'm assuming if yes, that I will need to sync the two cards from here forward?
-What parts will I need (ie nmae 2000 starter kit) and any additional parts for wiring?
-Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this network setup?
I apologize for all the questions. These seem to be some questions I have come across so far. I am certain I am not the first to come across this so I am trying to not reinvent the wheel. I appreciate your time.
