Neutral Safety switch question

I have a 1996 4 Winns Horizon with a 5L volvo Penta engine. This season I have had an issue where sometimes you turn the key but the boat does not turn over, no click, nothing. If I move the shifter back and forth a few times it often fixes the issue and the boat will start.

I tested the ignition switch and it seems to be fine, so I am pretty sure it is the neutral safety switch. yesterday I started to disassemble the controller to get to the switch and it came out much easier than I thought it would. The problem is this- the wires disconnected from it when it came out and though I have a replacement switch on the way, I do not know which wire goes where. I have NC, NO and Common.

The switch is a cherry e62 switch 10.1A 125/250 VAC- that is discontinued but I found the replacement for it online

Help!

I should mention that I have not been able to find schematics or anything for this, so it makes it quite a challenge.

the schematics are in the factory manual

one wire goes to the common, the other depends on the controls. if the switch rides in a V at neutral, then you wire it to the NC terminal. if the switch rides on a bump at neutral, then you wire to the NO

Try "boatinfo.no" in the library section. It might be there. FWIW - I find using internet explorer (not edge or chrome) makes that site much easier to use since it requires flash.
