Every boat I have owned, has been a Volvo penta set up. Well, this new boat that I have is also a VP but I now have run in to a problem that I can figure out.
Recently, my outdrive will not lower all the way. I did the normal things and check all connections and fluids. All is good.
Now....this is where I became confused and I can not figure out what it is.
On the transom I have this "Trim Limit Control" with wires going to it.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Are there adjustments allowed on this box?
there is limited info online about it too. no manuals either.

From the manual, maybe it helps a little.

Ya I had one of those also. Your trim sender will also be 3 wires instead of the common 2 to operate that limit switch. I got tired of that system acting up and the drive hitting my swimstep so I just removed it and made some stops for the trim cylinders internally. I take it that you must have a swim step or that wouldn't be there. I may have another one of those limit controls.

There is a better PDF out there on how to test and adjust that trim control box. Don S. had posted it here years back. I just found it and used it last year. However, I didn't keep it.
