I have a 1998 searay 210 5.7 mercruiser. A few days ago I notice my my battery gage running about 10 amps and my depth finder not functioning properly. So I ordered a new alternator installed it and nothing before I had no issues other than the gage and the depth finder....now no power what so ever when you turn on the ignition switch nothing....I checked all fuses in the fuse box all were good. I found 2 fuses behind the engine (stereo memoy&bilge pump) both were good and the battery is charged. It seems as if it's a fuse blown but If so I don't know where it may be located please help

Welcome to the forum!
Did you disconnect the battery during the swap?
id you take pictures of the wiring setup and duplicate it?
Will any thing run?
Is the master plug disconnected?
Is one of the battery cables not connected?

Howdy

There is a 90 amp fuse which is connected to the starter bolt and then from it is connected to the ALT. Check that fuse

Take a picture of the back of the alternator showing all your wiring connections and post it.

Measure the voltage going to your ignition switch and it's output with the igniton turned to on.

You may have tripped the main breaker, big red button above the starter.
