New boat. Chaparral sunseta 250 cat hull.

I purchased a 1994 chaparral sunseta 250 with a cat hull. I tried a different boating form and got nothing in fact everyone is trying to tell me that it isn't a cat hull. My question is does anyone either know enough about this that might be able to hend some assistance as far as information on the boat or do you know where I may be able to go to get the information. The only thing that I have been able to find is the sales brochure from chaparral in 1994 from the chaparral web site. Thank you.

What specifically do you want to know? The boat manual probably won't tell you that much, but if you contact Chap, I'm sure they can dig you up a PDF of it. Likely, you'll get better answers posting specific questions here on the forums.

Get a good manual for your drive system/motor though.

That is indeed a cat hull design. I was not aware that Chaparral ever made one.

I have a 1996 23 ft Bayliner Rendezvous (deck boat)with a very similar hull design, except mine might be called a "modified" cat hull, because it incorporates a modified "V" type hull between the two outer sponsons.

It would be interesting to see the design of the stern.

Looks like a cat hull to me. Although the design is pushing the line on fiberglass pontoon vs cat, lol. I'd be calling this a deckboat.

I have seen them called pontoon deck boats in other blogs before. Can you post a pic of the stern?
