I would say a 19 or 21 pitch. Thats just my opinion though.

You may already have the best prop but without some testing, you don't know. I suggest you take a peak at the READ THIS FIRST sticky at the very top of this forum.

What pitch prop is on the boat now? what is your WOT RPM. Then you can go from there. The boat will have a manufacture WOT RPM. So if you want more of a hole shot then you go with a little smaller pitch prop. If you are looking for more top end then you go with the highest pitch prop that your motor will push. If ya get too high a pitch prop the motor will not have the HP to push it and will not be able to get up the RPM's. There are also lots of different Stainless steel props. some the same pitch work different on different boats. They also have different diameters of props. Good luck finding the right one.. Once ya do you will love the difference.

A high pitch prop is like high gear on a car, You get lower RPM,s and more speed, and better gas mileage. Low pitch is like low gear, better acceleration (hole shot), higher RPM's, worse gas mileage.

I is just what ever you need.

Too high a pitch is like trying to climb a hill in 5th gear, the engine strains, but does not have enough power to climb the hill. Too low of a pitch would rev the engine too high, like not shifting out of 1st gear.
