New boat, new questions?? 73 Imp Inca, 302 Waukesha, 270 Volvo

Hi guys, just picked up a 73 Imp Inca with a 302 Ford (Waukesha) 4 brl carb, guessing a 215hp? It has the Volvo 270 outdrive. I have always had GM Mercruiser set-ups, this is all new to me so I have a few questions;

What is the oil capacity for the engine? Put 5 qts in and it still seems low

How to change drive fluid and what to use, been reading alot online and get more confused as I go, the majority say 30 weight non detergent? Fill from top, bottom???

Behind the bell housing is a drum looking (adapter??) with what looks like a fill plug on top, what is this and what do I fill with?

Last but not least, does anyone know where I can find any lit. on this boat? Manual, specs, old ad lit, general info, I think it's a cool old unique boat and am looking for more info

Outdrive fills from the top, use the forward starboard screw. (the tapered one)
Use 30W engine oil. At our shop we use Castrol GTX.
I have filled hundreds of 270 drives they take 2.5 qts.

Thanks cr2k, ok, today I got the motor fired up (on muffs in neutral) and it seems to run well but there is a pretty loud rattle coming from??? when inside the boat it sounds like it's from the bell housing area, then when I got out and went around back it seemed louder from the drive. I shut it down and the drive is real hot. I did put it in gear for a short time and it made no diference, gets louder when I accelerate. Now I know it's hard to diagnose with just this discription, but any idea's??
