im looking on buying this 1978 avenger 230 thats been redone with a chevy big block 454 turned over to a 468 pusching out 5ooHP to a jet drive 25" long. around 4 grand????<br /> <br />

I feel the same as I did on this thread:<br /><br /> other 468 "motor question" thread<br /><br />With two additions/clarifications:<br /><br />1) I assumed it was an 18 footer, this is probably a 60 MPH boat if everything is right and <br /><br />2) That is a very shallow deadrise at the stern. This thing will pound in anything but glass . . .

with out looking very cose i can allready see some AUTO stuff like the fuel filter that is BIG NO<br /><br />My BILS first boat was and 18 ft donzi that had the jet added it really pounded and the older jets were hard an GAS<br /><br />tommays
