New boat! What is it?

Just bought a boat. 15 feet. Came with an Evinrude big twin 40.
how do I learn what kind of boat it is? The lady I bought it from didn't know.

It is whatever the paperwork/title/registrationbsays it is.

Without paoerwork/title/registration AND a Bill of Sale you dont own it and its a yard planter

So the lady remembered it's a carson.
paperwork says "boat".
Its fiberglass, so that's easy to play with.
And in the cold light of day I even found the engine serial number.
where are hull numbers usually found?
I took a pic, but its too big for the forum... I'll get on my laptop later and size it.
