new boat! worth fixing?

i bought this boat with motor and trailer for $150.00 . its a 1975 dem craft, 14'8". the transom is no good unfortunately. would it be worth fixing or should i keep shopping?

if it's what you want in a little fishing boat, yes, fix it. i would have bought it for 150. sand blast the trailer and paint it.

absolutely. That boat should move nicely with a 50 and it is nice and open. Good fishing platform. You could fix the transom and use it as is or soup up the interior. Nice find.

I would think with a little detailing and about $500.00 you should have a boat that you can use and then sell for at least $1500. Half the fun is working on a boat.

Hehe we've seen a fine boat made from much worse! Yours has a lot of potential.
