Hello-

First post. I have a 2000 Yamaha 40 hp four stroke that was on a 16' Smokercraft runabout. It is now on an 18', 8' wide Voyager pontoon boat. I assume I will have to re-prop the thing but I don't know where to start. It will be used to cruise leisurely on a small lake and for fishing. Usually two to four people on the boat (175 lbs each) and occasionally two small children. I'm not a speed merchant obviously:D but might want to pull the kids on a tube occasionally.

Any advice you can give would help

Re: New Boat

Welcome,
You should run it with your present prop and give us the specs. We'll need
your present prop size, and your max rpm and speed.Max rated rpm, of the motor if possible. If you read the stickies at the top of this forum and the the helps at the top and bottom in the iboats prop store you'll get the idea what your dealing with. With your specs we'll get you set up.
