i bought this last thursday the trailer is 3 yrs old the previous owner had it built and even gave me the receipt ( $1480 ), the boat itself is 18.5 center console with a blowed 140 Suzuki...i have a 200 evinrude to go on it..let me know your opinions...i gave $1500 for it

it needs some wiring sorted out and the shift cables changed for the evinrude..and maybe it will be ready for the water :) thanks Jason

that seems like a good deal if the floor and transom are solid..part out the suzuki for a few hundred then you got around $1000 into it...One thing that might concern me would be the size of the motor you are putting on it..200hp seems pretty big, but I have seen people put 225's and 250's on 19 footers. As far as the trailer, trailers sold with home made registrations are pretty common. Some cities like Miami are cracking down big time on home made trailers..Especially aluminum or galv trailers with stickers that look like they are not home made. It is so easy to walk off(literally) with someones trailer and have it weighed and you can register it as home made with bill of sale from Joe Shmoe and a weight slip.. If it was steel and painted with rustoleum I would not sweat it but make sure you keep the sellers info with a copy of the bill of sale whenever you take it out. Cover your a_ _ ...
