hello everyone!
I recently bought a Carolina Skiff Ultra Elite ss 23 with a Suzi 175.
This is my very first boat that i have owned and operated so i had a steep learning curve. There was so much more to boating than I could have ever imagined.
I have taken the boat out about 10 times now and am getting better at handling her but am still having a little bit of trouble docking at the ramp. Launching and driving her up the trailer isnt an issue anymore.
The Elite is really a great all around boat and is perfect for someone who wants to do some hanging out at the sandbar , cruising as well as fishing the flats. I live in a great location to do all of the above , Clearwater, FL.
It's a great boating and fishing area. I usually hang out either at the Johns pass sandbar or my preferred hangout, St Johns Sound near Dunedin (Caladesi,Honemoon island,Anclote Key and 3 rooker bar). I also like to fish there as well although i still have a lot to learn about fishing.
I hope to learn more about boating on this board and maybe even find a friend or two. If you are from Tampa and boat and fish near dunedin, sound off. Would like to meet some people to go fishing with and mjaybe show me how it's done.

Here are some pics of my pride and joy

Welcome aboard!
NICE boat and nice co-pilots, all 3 of them!
I cant give you much fishing knowledge for your area, I am a transplanted SoCal Tuna guy trying to be happy cathing snook and sea trout and other Florida natives a bit south of you.
There are a few sharp hooks on here that are in your area that should stop in and help you out.
