I have these 2 little blocks of aluminum that are under the drive that just damaged a new bravo III outdrive. I just had the drive replaced at my dealer and the unit was tested then put into storage for the winter.. well i got it out over memorial weekend and those little blocks just did a big one  on my drive..go here to see http://www.geocities.com/tufnoogies/ cut and past it into browser to see what i am talking about. I am not impressed at all with my service these drives are $$$ and I never even got the boat out of the river..check it out.. how do i correct this!!!

I haven't done any work on a Bravo III,
But, in your photos it Looks like a Serious Alignment Problem....
I'd be looking to your Dealer, for Answers...
After All, They Should have Found this Problem Last Fall.........

I would say that you have a serious corrosion problem. Electrolosis has eaten the sacrificial plates to nothing and now it is eating the aluminum on the outdrive.

no its definatly not a corrosion problem . i removed the plates myself and they still have all the "do not void" stickers on them. everything is trailered and is only in the water when being used.. and its fresh water.. as far as the alignment,,,how do you change it? or are those little blocks made for a different drive config? I had an old bravo III and updated to the new one were those blocks supposed to be changed as well?
