New Cobalt Boat

Had pics of the new Cobalt 200.
Looks very interesting to me ... interior layout is excellent.

Anybody have any data on this boat, any reviews out there ??

I'm sure it's a solid boat, but I'm not sure what you're asking for. I don't think Coblat offers much different than most other mid-tier boat makers in the 20' class of runabouts, but I DO think they shine on the 23-24' models and above for layouts and luxury offerings. Personally I believe it's difficult to make a 20' runabout layout too unique because you have to use every inch of space for available seating in a runabout. Once you move into their 232/242 series, they are able to move things around and make great use of the extra space.

IMO, (I'm a Cobalt lover) I'd say find a cheaper-priced boat if you're set on a 20' model. If you were looking at a 232/242, I'd say go for it.

I've admired Cobalt's at the boat shows for their fine fit, finish, quality and all stainless steel fittings, beautiful colors, gel-coats. Looks like a luxury type boat to me! Good Luck!
