Ok I have a question about a water circulating pump for mercruiser 3.0's
I was recently reading an advertisement from gm for the vortec 3.0 marine engine and in thead it says they have started using a new design
"The improved, advanced-design water pump seal reflects GM Powertrain?s commitment to continuous improvement. "
Anyways I have a 96 3.0lx and would like to be able to use this new advanced design -can anyone help me as to how to get it and know that its the new design? Who can i call that will know exactly what im talking about. Thanks for any advice in this regard. I have the pdf of the advertisement if you guys want to see. Smart money is to call mercury. I guess. If anyone knows anything im still interested.
