Well, after 3 1/2 years using a Kodak DX4900 (4MP, 2x zoom), I pulled the trigger on an upgrade. The new beast is a Kodak P880 . I wanted something with a full set of manual controls, but didn't quite feel like bumping up to a digital SLR. (I wanted something that would be easy enough for Mrs. bh357 to use, and didn't quite like the bulk of an SLR + lenses). I ordered it from Costco, and the total came to just over $460, with the 5% non-member fee, s&h, and tax. Not bad for an MSRP of $599.<br />In 7-10 business days, I will be in shooting bliss
