New Drive Bellows Question DPS-A

I just ordered a new Drive and Exhaust bellows for my DPS-A outdrive. I noticed that with the new Drive bellows only one new clamp was provided. The exhaust bellows came with two. If I remember right, when I disconnected my old Drive bellows, it had a clamp on each end. Am I expected to reuse the old clamp on the other end? Why would Volvo only include one clamp?

I did notice that the new Drive bellows, part# 22197130, is made up of a different material from the old. The new bellows is more of a plastic, less rubbery than the old one and a slightly different shape. The paperwork that came with it says the material was changed to make it more durable. But does anyone know why only hose clamp is supplied. Am I to re-use the old or are clamps no longer needed with the new material?

U-joint bellows only has one clamp at the transom housing.

Bruce, I could have sworn mine had one on each end, evidently not. If not, what makes the watertight seal on the other end? Just tightness of the fit?

The nose cone of the drive makes the seal. You have a manual?

Yes, I went online after seeing your first message to famalarize myself. I see now how is is attached. It looks like the bellows is sandwitched between the lower leg nose cone and a ring on the pivot housing.

Since my boat is still in storage, I was having to go by memory. Also the bellows packaging showed two clamps on the exterior diagram. Kind of threw me at first. I think I understand now.

Is this something new?
My 2007 DPS-A has clamps at both ends. Both bellows. Replaced them last summer.
I see just one. Am I not looking at a DPS-A here?
