just finished repowering my 85 aq260. took her out for its 1 hr break in. engine runs good. holds temp at 130-140f. its raw water cooled. once its warmed up and we were running her up on plane I noticed that the one manifold is quite a bit hotter than the other. I didn't have a raytec to shoot temps but the one was cool and the other I was just able to keep my hand on it. I could feel flow going through the hose to the manifold. wondering what steps I should take to troubleshoot this and what to look for. next time out I can take my raytec to shoot temps. what is the recommended temps to run at for raw water cooling? its all new manifolds and risers.

It's normal for one manifold to be warmer than the other. Typically, it can be up to 20°. Use an IR gun to make sure. You may want to check that the thermostat housing has no blockage in it.
