just finished repowering my 85 aq260. took her out for its 1 hr break in. engine runs good. holds temp at 130-140f. its raw water cooled. once its warmed up and we were running her up on plane I noticed that the one manifold is quite a bit hotter than the other. I didn't have a raytec to shoot temps but the one was cool and the other I was just able to keep my hand on it. I could feel flow going through the hose to the manifold. wondering what steps I should take to troubleshoot this and what to look for. next time out I can take my raytec to shoot temps. what is the recommended temps to run at for raw water cooling? its all new manifolds and risers.

look for a kinked hose from your t-stat housing, or a plugged t-stat housing connection.

Maybe SBC have a slohjt temp difference between the rift and left banks , cause by flow thru the system.
