Last october I bought a 1993 wellcraft excel bowrider for $1,000. I put it in the water in april and noticed that the floor was beggining to rot so I just threw some boards over the carpet as a temporary fix. Now that the boat is out of the water and I took off the temporary boards it is obvious that I will need a new floor. My question is what is the approximate cost to get a new floor and stringers put in by a professional? If I decided to do this by myself how much work could I be expecting? I am totally new to this and would have no idea where to begin.<br />Thanks

Re: New Floor

Can't give an approximate cost, too many variables. At best you can get a vague idea based on a search that will show what others went through to fix the problem. It can be anywhere from $1000+ diy to $3000+ pro...

1995 20' Celebrity here. Missed the entire season last summer, never even got it wet, because it was in the shop having a new floor and about half of the stringers replaced. Cost $3200 in central MO...Lake of the Ozarks
