new flooring?

hey i waant to get rid of my carpeting... i was debating on doing a fiberglass floor.. or i just found out about vinyl flooring...i got samples of the vinyl floor and it seems nice.. anyone have any pics of this done? or suggestions on which is better?

I pulled the carpet out of my galley and glued in teak T+G. five years ago. Looks great still, sort of slippry when wet, but much easier to maintain.
