New forum feature "Share this"... What's that all about?

I've notice over the last few days that there's a line that stays visible when scrolling down the forum posts. It's a "Share this". I have no idea what that is all about, but I'd love to know how to turn it OFF! It's very distracting and reduces the amount of screen space for reading the post.

I'm using Firefox 10.0.2, but it does it on IE also...

OK, nevermind, I see it now. Needed to clean my glasses, I guess.

Once you reach the end of the posts it does disappear, I just find it annoying when I scroll down through the posts and I'm trying to read them and this line is eating up space. We have enough rubbish and advertising to try and ignore as it is, this is just one more annoyance...

I'm with you Chris...

That setup has been moved and morphed to a variety of spaces but I think where/how it's sitting at the moment is probably the most annoying.

but what you are describing is not the way they intended it to be.

could it be because you are posting from auzzie land that your puter is upside down?

Well guys, I have good news and bad news.
Bad news first. The links to Facebook, Twitter, and Google will remain at the top of the thread.

Now, the Good news. You can now disable that bar from following down the thread as you scroll down. Our buddy toneeeees has added a way to disable the bar following you. Look at the image below, just click on the iboats settings link on the nav bar, then click on disable to disable the follow, or click it again to enable it.
