Hi Walt... would love to hear the story. If your going where I think you are with this, I am sure it will remind me that Ford pick-ups don't float too well either.

All I have to say is if you dare to go wot in to an area marked on a fishing map (in your tackle box in the boat) with the words "Boaters Danger" and you have a shear pin motor, carry extra shear pins. Lesson learned.

So help me I read this in the Modesto Bee. A fisherman[?], took his brand new boat to a lake above Bakersfield for it's maiden voyage.<br /><br />He launched the boat and some people saw him in front of the ramp going in little circles. Finally he pulled back up to the ramp and hailed a couple of fellows over.<br /><br />"I dont seem to have much power or control, could you take a look? This is a brand new boat".<br /><br />Upon a quick inspection of the situation they found the novice sailor had neglected to take the boat off the trailer.<br /><br />Now who says boats don't have wheels?
