New fuel sending unit/old guage

I need to replace my fuel sending unit, but am curious if I will have problems calibrating it to the old guage. Is it just replace it and go, or is there some rocket science involved in the cal? Thanks

Different Gauges use Different Ohm ranges...<br />Depends on the manufacturers...

When mine went earlier this year I found the manufacturer's decal on the tank and called them. They had the correct sender in stock.
