Hi, great forum. I've got an '86 Force 50. Latley, I've noticed a fuel leak. Seems to collect at bolt on the bottom of the carb and drips off. It seems that this occurs when the engine is tilted up for trailoring. Also (and possibly related), I've noticed a the engine cut out at idle for a brief moment and the idel normally. Otherwiaw operate normally, not staring problems. Apprediate some ideas.

Thanks.

Almost all motors will drain or leak gas when tilted up. Any pressure remaining in the fuel lines will not be shut off because the carb float needle can not seat when tilted up. When you prime the motor does the bulb get hard? If not look around the carb and see if gas is coming out. If so the carb probably needs a rebuild kit which cost about 15 bucks and is pretty simple to do.
