Nice site..looking for advice..I have a 1993 25hp 2 cycle Mercury outboard that I put away for the winter per the manual and now is giving me a fit.I thought originally it was old gas from my tank causing the problem even though I stored it with fuel stabilizer.The motor will fire over but just for a second-I pull the cord and it immediately starts and dies.I did manage to get it to runs by starting it out in gear-but it wouldn't idle and dies when I switch to neutral.It was blowing alot of white smoke too-I have alot of experience with cars and motorcycles but I can't figure this out.I replaced the fuel tank,primer bulb and all the fuel line.I started with fresh gas and I even dissembled the carb to check for crap in the bowl-it was clean as a whistle.I'm at a loss ...help me out with any ideas...Thanks
