Had a Johnson 115 given to me. Was ran last year. Been online looking for a few things. I tried one place and gave them my year (1976) and model (115ETL76). They told me it had to be a '77, that there wasn't a '76 115. Can anyone help me out here? Why would they say that? These are my actual #'s Model 115ETL76G and Serial J4581119. I am looking for a water pump kit with housing aside from finding out what the deal is on this model #. Thanks for all your help. Jeff

1973-1976 and early 77 models had a dual line housing (out/return) and the only place to get it is from BRP as no one makes this aftermarket to my knowledge. The impeller kit can be bought aftermarket. If you need a upper housing go to www.boats.net and order the part #318933(housing and plates)

You'll also find that the newer kits just block off the return line at the stainless plate. Don't panic, it's the right one.

When you say newer kits, you mean new kits listed for a '76 right? Thanks Jeff
