New guy with '58 evinrude 10 hp model 10016

Hi to all,

I am a newbie and after reading all the great info in these forums I bought a 58 envinrude 10 hp. the dealer started it for me and seems to be in good working order.
I have not had a chance to hit the water yet but am excited to do so. I am sure I will need some expert advice keeping the old girl going and am confident that I can receive all the help I can from this forum. Without this forum I doubt I would have bought it as this is my first outboard. Thanks in advance.

what do you want to know? check for water in gear case, other than that if it runs good use it. be careful of those 2 line tanks, they can leak if the gaskets are old.
