I just picked up a 1991 Sunbird Sea Core 173 with a 90 hp Evinrude. My father and I fished out of it while I was in college, but since I moved out of my hometown and he had gotten older he didn't use it for 10 years, letting it sit in his driveway. He told me that I could have it if I wanted it, so I drove 22+ hours to pick it up. I had a dealer tune up the motor and I took it fishing yesterday here at the Laguna Madre in south Texas. It ran well once warmed up. There were a few minor problems that I'll address later on, just wanted to introduce myself right now. Overall we had a great time. I forgot how much fun boating is.
