Hey All,
I didn't know where to post this, and there is no newcomer thread. I just inherited my grandfather's '63 Duracraft jon boat. I have all kinds of great memories fishing in this boat as a kid and look forward to making new ones with my son. It's got an outboard Suzuki 9.9 right now, which desperately needs a new cowl, but other than that, it's exactly like I remember it. I look forward to learning tons from you folks.

Welcome, Winston. Bunch of good guys and girls here with tons of knowledge about EVERYTHING! Don't believe it, just ask them, they will tell you!

Enjoy the boat ... I started out with my grandpa's aluminum jonboat with Merc 3.9. Boats keep getting bigger and better!
