1961 10hp Johnson. The timing is simply having the flywheel key in the crankshaft aligned with the slot in the flywheel. There is no other timing adjustment.<br /><br />If you're asking where to have the crankshaft positioned in order to set the points properly, have the flywheel key aligned with the fiber rubbing portion of the points, then adjust so that a .020 goes thru the point gap, but a .022 does not.
