New ignition switch??

i turn the key on my 115hp johnson and it clicks. only clicks when i do the "push to start" when i turn it nothing happens. i already replaced the starter solenoid. and i can bypass the solenoid to crank it.

One of those things you need to test, you may replace the switch and it do the same thing. Check the switch with a test light or volt meter to the wire going to the solenoid, check it right at the switch terminal, that will tell you for sure.
