New Impeller

Hey,<br />This may sound strange.<br />I just put in my first impeller,on my 14 SPL Evinrude.<br />And now I was just thinking should I stay close to the boat ramp.Could the impeller that I put in<br />just stop working for some reason.<br />I just ran the motor in a barrel,for about 5 minutes,and the impeller worked fine.<br />Water was just streaming out the pump indicator.
