Does anyone know where i can find new carbs for a 1991 115hp V4 VRO2 outboard?

mine are leaking gas badly and I'd rather just get new ones than rebuild them. thanks

dealer, why new ones, could be a simple float needle needing replacing.

If you get a manual, and a rebuild kit, plus this free forum, it wont cost you more than 50 bucks to rebuild your carbs. New carbs will be much much more than that. The manual will get used after that as well, trust me, or you can simply re sell it if you so desire. Also gets you out of the house and chores on a saturday afternoon ;)

This vid tutorial may also help you. Worth a watch.

2 new carbs = $850; rebuild by marine mechanic, neighborhood of $300; do it yourself = $30 plus the cost of carb cleaner. Satisfaction of doing it yourself: priceless. The hardest part of rebuilding carbs is taking 'em off & putting 'em back on - "rebuild" just means disassemble, clean, and reassemble with the parts that come in the kit you can order from iboats. Don't be intimidated...if you can figure out how to log on to iboats, you can rebuild your carbs.

The rebuild is really easy.It would be a huge waste of money to buy new.
I rebuilt all 3 of mine in about an hour once they were off the motor and cleaned up.
Think of all the boat gas you can buy with the money you save.At most just let your local dealer do it.That will still save you 500 bucks!;)
If you lived near me i would do the job for 300 and even supply the kits!!
