Hay I am thinking of putting a longer swim ladder on my 98 stingrays 190 but when I looked at the back there's no access to the bolts there is a swim platform which appears to be as sealed by foam can I cut it out???? Any help would be appreciated thanks

:welcome: to iBoats . . .

It is your boat, you can do what ever you want. :)

You mean this swim ladder on the stern ?

As you can see, the 'cap' of the boat forms the top of the swim deck. So the swim platform was most likely attached to the swim deck prior to the 2 'halves' of the boat being joined together at the factory.

Usually the area under the swim deck is just an open cavity that should have access from within the engine compartment. You 'may' be able to get a wrench in there to grab hold of the fasteners to remove them. I assume you have the proper replacement swim ladder all figured out :noidea:

As stated, pictures would help . . .
