Just wanted to say hi and glad to be here. I have fished all my life but just bought my first boat (see signature). I am 34 years old, married for 7 year to a wonderfull woman (her idea for me to get a bass boat, can you believe that) have 2 children, 3year old girl and 6 month old boy. I have very little knowledge with boats and outboards, but don't mind learning and getting my hands dirty. Anyway, looking forward to great discussions in the future. <br /><br />Stephen

Skeeter welcome aboard. There is a world of info. on this board. The guys are great here. They are willing to help; If the wife suggested the boat she is a keeper If you haven't fished lake texoma yet by all means go just north of you. Have hooked some big ole strippers in there

welcome aboard i for 1 wecome any family man to this community as you work your boat you will find ppl her knowledgable on every aspect from the engine to the hull, the interior, the trailer just about everthing. YOu wil even get recipies to pass to the wife and fishing tips so welcome

Well doggone it is good to "see" a new face here in the forums. Let me add my Welcome Tex. I think you'll find these forums are just what the new boater needs. Just darn near any question can be answered here somewhere. And a better bunch of folks you won't find anywhere either. You ought to take the time to check out all the forums. Lots of info in them. So again, Welcome.<br /><br />Ohhhh, and just one more thing,<br /><br />Don't listen to what those two old gezzers say about me....their just mad cause the voices don't talk to them....just to me.
