New michigan wheel too much play on the shaft

Just got my new MW prop so I threw it on (had a composite - Pirahna prop on previous) adn it seems that i guess i need a thicker washer between the prop and nut? I've got the thrust washer on then prop and theres too much shaft left so the nut doesn't tighten down far enough resulting in play. I've got some photos:
