i have 4.3 omc motor and outdrive motor is blown and i want to get a 350 will a 350 go with the outdrive that has been on the 4.3L v6 i was told i only have to change the pitch of my prop
Gear ratios in the OD are different. <br />They will mate up physically. Don't know if changing props will compensate or not. Don't know if you will achieve the desired results of more power/speed in light of gear differences.
i have a boat that i put a 5.7 250 hp in with a 1:81 v-6 ratio.excellent wake board/ski boat.it is a 1987 19 ft regal sebring.running a 23 pitch prop.will go 50 mph by speedo in boat at 4800 rpm.
