I have a 1994 searay sundancer I just bought a promariner prosport 44021 to replace my original charger from 1994. However when I opened the box it had a normal 110 plug on it?? is this normal now? my old charger the wires get directly wired to the unit? What is the best way to go about making this work do i take the wires and put a outlet? I am just hesitant to do that because its in the engine bay and if that is what I am suppose to do is there a special type of outlet?

Those Prosport charges are designed for bass boats and other smaller type boats. Just park and then run an extension code out to plug in.

For an enclosed engine room, I would suggest another charger, or use a junction box. Cut the plug off and hard wire.

dingbat may have a better idea

Scratching my head as to why one would want to female connector on a 110 VAC input.

A "hot" male connector is dangerous, not to mention against every engineering standard on the books.

For 3 bank 20 amp
ProMariner ProNautic 1220P
Xantrex TrueCharge2

Or even go to 30amp but I don't know what your setup is
