I hope it works out for them.

It does bother me that we turn everything, in this country, into a race.

Tournament fishing, especially Bass, has turned what once was a relaxing and fun little competition into a cut-throat one.:(

"Most of our customers are interested in going between 65 and 95 miles per hour," he said.

I would have to argue that if it takes 2 or 3 or 4 550hp outboards for you to do 95mph, you may, just may, be running the wrong kind of boat for doing 95mph.

I take you have not spent much time around offshsore fishing boats. It takes a heck of a lot of HP to push a #14K of boat through 4-5 seas @ 65-70 mph. ;)

It?s not uncommon for boats to travel 75-100 miles through open ocean to fish a tournament. It?s pretty common for the Hatteras and Oregon inlets boats to come up and fish the Chesapeake Tournaments. We fished a tournament last year where we fished off New Jersey for a Virginia Beach based tournament.
