New please help

hey everyone im new to I/O boats. i picked up a 96 Glastron with a 4.3ltr alpha 1 drive unit. Im trying to figure out how to run the system out of the water. im aware that there is a chingus to hook up to the drive to hook to a hose (i think)

can someone help point me in the right direction?

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard Cole,... As Art has pointed out, ya need a set of Muffs, hooked to a garden hose...

They're self-sealing, in the sense that ya want alota water flowin', 'n leakin' 'round the muffs pretty good,...

The drive will take what it needs,...

Keep the drive fully down, or as near so as possible when runnin' it, 'n don't Rev it hard,....
1500/ 2grand is enough to do whatever needs doin'...

I get the sneaking suspicion (since you admit you are new to I/O) that you may need just a tad bit more infomation then just where to get muffs, or even the basics on how to use them as has been provided. I highly recommend visiting the "Adults Only" sticky at the top of this forum to get almost all the information you need to keep youself going. Best of luck and welcome to the forum...
