Replaced my old starter with a Sierra PMGR, wired it correctly, replaced the bolck mounted 3-post terminal starter relay, replaced the ignition switch. When turning key switch to start and letting go to "on" and even when the key is turned to off, the starter continues to run -- have to disconnect the power to stop it. The battery is new 550 CCA, reads 12.63 volts at the terminal and at the starter, so the battery cable is good. I've read earlier similar posts, but not sure how this phenomenon was solved. Any ideas guys?

I think you may have wired it wrong, can you put up some pictures of the starter and solenoid connections.

Howdy

Agree with Fed something not right. Had trouble finding a wiring diagram for your engine but this one though crude, appears correct
