Re: new pontoon boats

In the 50 size 4-stroke my druthers would be Honda. But I'm not the one who has to write the check ;) . No mention of what size 'toon. For a 50 I wouldn't go over 22 foot.

There are several 'toon owners on this 'board. Hopefully a few of them will show up after the holiday

Kelly Cook

Real fond of my pontoon but all things considered it would proabably boil down to which one fits your preferance better. Are you looking new or used? It is my understanding that crestliner may be a bit better built but is proababily reflected in the price. As for the motors, well I best leave that one alone as they are not my fortay, but you should be nothing but happy with the four stroke. good luck and let us know what you decide.

Re: new pontoon boats

thanks for the responses. sorry about info-both pontoons are 20 ft. the layout of the suntracker is more to my liking. lots of underseat storage. the crestline brochure does not say anything about storage. any ideas? thanks

Re: new pontoon boats

I would expect the Crestliner to have underseat storage as well.

Crestliner and Sun Tracker certainly are big names in the 'toon world. But 'toons are not rocket science. There are lots of other brands that are nice values too. Dunno what brands have good dealers in your area, but I would keep that door open and shop 'em all.

Kelly
