Greetings all fellow tooners, I recently picked up a 2004 Tracker Tahoe 22' with a 115 hp yamaha motor and have been on the water every weekend since I bought it. It has really brought me closer to my two sons, and I enjoy spending "man" time with them. Its great to see them away from all their high tech toys, and games. My question is this. I live in Daytona Beach, FL and have cruised the intercoastal waterway. I am interested in cruising the St. johns river, does anybody out there know whats the best place to launch from near blue spring state park or hontoon island? Any info would be greatly appriciated.

Stop by Walmart, any marine or bait store and pick up charts of the area. All ramps will be clearly marked on the charts.

I've cruised the St. Johns and it is a pretty river. If you ever get over to Silver Springs, try the Ocklawaha River. It is even prettier and take some banannas to feed the wild monkeys.

Welcome to the forum. Keep us informed of your adventures.
