I've been a member at iboats since 2004, but haven't frequented the pontoon forums until recently.

Friday, I inked the purchase of a '10 Bennington 2275RLi. It's a bi-toon. Much of the discussion here and other sites led to purchase this brand above others.

She's optioned with the extended stern platform/ladder, upgraded stereo/speakers, bow filler seat, tow pylon, LED docking lights and sports a Merc 115 fourstroke. I was most pleased with the price and the dealer is in the town where my summer place is located. I will be using her on Crystal Lake (the Beulah one). I am planning to keep my 24' go fast boat to fulfill the need for speed.

I'll be spending the winter looking for a trailer, amps/subs and hopefully a Magma grill.

Here's a pic.

I have a five starr trailer on our 24ft Starcraft. Pontoon boat. It's ok but I'm getting rid of the surge brakes and haveing disc put on in the spring. It has 10 inch wheels.

Thanks for the warm welcome, the compliments and the suggestions. Now, how many more weeks of winter remain?

Perfect, you can get in the water to hold the boat while I'm at the helm starting her up!

May is a bit early for boating in my neck of the woods. There might still be icebergs.
