Hi everyone. Well I have a little if an issue. I was loading up my four winns horizon 190 and forgot to bring up the out drive and bent my propeller. I have a 1994 omc cobra/ volvo venture ford 5.0. The boat is a four winns horizon 190. The prop on the boat is a 14.5x19. Now I do have an extra that the prop that the previous owner included with the boat but it's a 15x17 prop. Will it work fine? Also came with 2 cotter pins some lube and a copper coler washer about 1/2" thick with splines in the center. How hard is it to change out the prop? Thanks

That prop you have should work fine! It may overrev at WOT though? Just be sure to keep the throttle set less then your recommended Max rpm I think that may be 4200-4600max. It will definitely give you more zip, & power then the 19' pitch throughout the range, but scrub some top speed.

It's not hard to change a prop, you can usually use the original parts to mount it also. Make sure the spline is greased too.
