Need some advice here, I have been learning to wakeboard behind my 1999 Procraft Fish & Ski 170 with a prop pitch of 24"
It is taking my boat around 12 seconds of WOT to get on plane and the boat is going around 18mph at the threshold of getting on plane. This is very slow compared to wakeboard boats that seem to almost get on plane instantly.
Also, it is difficult to learn wakeboarding because during this watersport the average speed I want to go is around 18mph and since my boat is barely on plane at this speed it is forcing me to wakeboard at faster speed then I want to go.
I want to get on plane quickly and then be able to cruise at slow speeds on plane.
My question is what will solve my problem cheapest and most efficiently, smart tabs or a new prop ...maybe a P20 prop?
