Re: new prop question

dogtoy,

What kind of prop did you buy?

1. New or rebuilt?
2. Stainless vs. aluminum?
3. Cupped vs. non cupped? Cupped props have a lip at the trailing edge of the blades.
4. Brand?
5. Same size?

Did you hit something requiring the purchase of a new one??

Re: new prop question

Hello,
Sounds like your prop is out of balance,Damaged or both.Take a look-see for dings/bends or missing metal. Is the prop pitched too high for the boat?An over-pitched prop will cause vibration at low speeds. Also check the trim ajustment tab(fin)on the cavitation plate. Is it straight?May be why your pulling to one side..
