When buying a boat - always have it inspected by a qualified marine technician / mechanic. Just because a boat or engine manufacturer has a good name - it is MORE IMPORTANT to make sure the maintenance was done properly. Otherwise the good name may need big repairs and a quality inspection may save you $$$$.<br /><br />Make sure the trailer it may come with is also in good condition and that it has working brakes should it weigh what your vehicle's owners manual states (for towing with or without brakes) or mandated by State Law. <br /><br />And then practice, paractice for docking, trailering etc, etc.<br /><br />Regards, <br />Mike
